Video Interviews with John Mitzel — These interviews concern pivotal moments in Boston’s gay history
William A. Percy — His website contains thousands of pages that debunk commonly held ideas about homosexuality, the American South, history, classics, and religions, with a special emphasis on writers who have been censored and condemned
This is a 1 hour and 20 minute discussion held at the Toronto Public Library in 1972. Tries to cover too much ground in too short a time, but still worth watching. Many of my photos were used, I did not see any credit. Hugh Brewster was kind enough to utter my full name twice. Ed Jackson made reference to a ‘Jearld’ as it reads on the subtitles, but since he only mentions one ‘Jearld’, when he knew there were two – I’m pretty sure he is referring to his good friend Gerald Hannon and simply forgetting my contributions and the many role(s) I played. Jackson also referred to Richard Wandel as the head of New York’s Mattachine Society, when in fact he was President of the New York Gay Activists’ Alliance.
