Introduction for Greece Album
Greece maintains a permanent hold on many people, especially those who wish we had lived during the so-called “golden age.” Despite what we consider flaws in their social system, when you consider everything as a whole, ancient Greece suits my values and personality better than any other time and place in human history. And so that, perhaps, is why I’m drawn back again and again. To walk among the groves, gorges and seaside, to visit the ruins and museum collections and contemplate what it must have been like to be a part of it.
